My Files
Your own private file space. Photograph a drawing or a delivery note with your phone and the built-in scanner crops it straight and files it; drop a file anywhere in the app and it lands here; or, on Android, send one to MechCircle straight from another app's share sheet.
How to use it
Drag a file onto any page — you do not have to be in My Files first — and it goes to your Incoming Files folder, where you name it and choose where it belongs. Install MechCircle on an Android phone and it also appears in the share sheet, so a photo or a PDF reaches it from wherever you are. Then organise: folders inside folders, rename, move, copy, and preview PDFs and images without downloading anything.
How it helps
The moment a drawing arrives is the moment it should be filed, and that moment is usually not while you are sitting in the file screen. Catching a file wherever you happen to be is the difference between it being filed and it sitting in a phone gallery. A photographed drawing comes out square and readable, not a tilted snapshot with your bench in the corner.
Good to know
Is everything in My Files private?
Yes. Files in My Files are visible only to you — not your team, not your contacts — until you choose to share something (that's what Shared Files is for).
Can I scan a drawing or document with my phone?
Yes. Photograph a drawing, a delivery note or any paper document and the built-in scanner crops and straightens it into a clean PDF or photo. You can also upload PDFs, images, and office files, and preview PDFs and images right in the app.
