Terms of Service

By using MechCircle, you agree to these terms.

Who We Are

MechCircle is currently operated by Mech Source, Bangalore, India (C/o Mech Source, 15/28/B, G J Industrial Area, Doddakallasandra, Bangalore - 560062), with a dedicated MechCircle entity planned for the future.

Your Account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for the accuracy of information you provide. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the company you register.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use MechCircle for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access another company’s or user’s data without authorization
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt the platform
  • Impersonate another person or company

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload (tasks, messages, files, business documents). You’re responsible for ensuring you have the right to share anything you upload, including with your Connected contacts.

Using Our Free Tools Without an Account

You can use some MechCircle tools, such as the free drawing reader, without an account. These terms apply to you when you do; the parts about accounts and subscriptions do not.

  • You must have the right to share anything you upload. If a customer's contract forbids their drawing leaving your premises, do not upload it.
  • The drawing reader uses AI to read what is printed on a drawing, and it can be wrong. Check every figure against the drawing before you quote a price, order material or cut metal.
  • Weights are worked out with standard material densities and standard allowances, not your own. Treat them as an estimate.
  • Free use is limited: a set number of free reads per email address each month, and a set number of reads each day for everyone. We may change these limits, or pause or withdraw a free tool, at any time.
  • Use the tools yourself, by hand. Do not use scripts or bots, and do not use extra email addresses or other ways to get round the limits.

Paid one-off reads

If you pay us directly for extra reads (for example by UPI), this is what you are buying:

  • Each paid read is one drawing read with the free drawing reader, added to the email address you give us. It is not a subscription and does not create an account.
  • Paid reads are used only after that month's free read is used, and they do not expire.
  • A read that fails on our side — the reader is busy, takes too long, or cannot read the drawing — does not use up a paid read.
  • Paid reads are not held back by the daily limit, but they are by the monthly limit for everyone. If that is reached, your paid read waits for the next month.
  • If we stop offering the drawing reader, we will refund any paid reads you have not used, if you ask us within three months of us stopping.

Subscription Tiers

MechCircle offers a Free tier and paid tiers with additional features. Feature availability may change as the platform develops. We’ll make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes affecting your account.

Service Availability

We aim to keep MechCircle reliable and available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We use error monitoring (via Sentry) to identify and fix issues as quickly as possible.

Limitation of Liability

MechCircle is provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using MechCircle at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
