Install it like an app

MechCircle installs straight from your browser — no app store, no download, nothing to update. It gets its own icon and opens in its own window, without browser tabs and address bars in the way.

Android

Chrome

  1. 1Open mechcircle.com in Chrome and log in.
  2. 2Tap the three-dot menu, top right.
  3. 3Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen.
  4. 4Confirm. MechCircle appears with your other apps.

Installed this way, MechCircle also shows up in Android’s share sheet, so you can send a photo or a PDF straight into My Files from any other app.

iPhone and iPad

Safari

  1. 1Open mechcircle.com in Safari and log in.
  2. 2Tap the Share button — the square with the arrow.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. 4Tap Add. MechCircle appears on your home screen.

This only works in Safari. Chrome and Firefox on iOS cannot add an app to the home screen — that is an Apple restriction, not something we can work around.

Desktop

Chrome or Edge

  1. 1Open mechcircle.com and log in.
  2. 2Look for the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar.
  3. 3Click it, then click Install.
  4. 4MechCircle opens in its own window, without browser tabs.

Firefox and Safari on desktop do not offer installation. MechCircle works normally in a tab there.

What installing does and does not change

  • It is the same MechCircle, with the same login. Nothing moves or is copied to your device.
  • You still need an internet connection. There is no offline mode.
  • Reminders reach you by email, and alerts appear while MechCircle is open in a tab or window. Installing does not add push notifications that arrive when it is closed.
